Wednesday, Jan. 16 Keith Secola and Blackfire Native American Music groups appearing at Grand County Middle School and Red Rock Elementary for the BEACON after school program and playing a *Benefit Concert* at Star Hall at 7 p. m.
February
Saturday, the 23rd - Health Fair in partnership with Allen Memorial Hospital at the Grand Center 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
May
Fri-Sun, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th - “Festival of Cultures" Diversity Celebration in Center Street with kick-off parade from the high school down 4th East to the Sun Court, music and dance performances at the Sun Court, ethnic crafts and food booths, Native American and Hispanic scholars speaking at the Library, film showings and the photographic exhibit “Hispanics in Utah” by Prof. Solorzano
July
Friday, the 4th - participate in celebration at Swanny City Park
September
Tuesday, Sept. 16th – Mexican Independence Day – Celebration at Red Cliffs Lodge
Late in September – Fee Free Day at the National Parks with MVMC sponsoring field trips to local parks
October
Early October - Shiprock Navajo Fair
Late October - food booth at YGP's Pumpkin Chuckin' Festival
November
Fri-Sat, the 7th and 8th - Food Booth at the Moab Folk Festival
December
Saturday - Float for the Electric Light Parade
